Our History
PMR Grain Systems was established in 2004 by husband and wife team Paul and Caroline Whitbread. They moved over from the UK to Mid Canterbury with 30 years of experience and knowledge in the industry. After 18 years of proudly serving the New Zealand agricultural sector, the reins were handed to PMR GM, Tom Burke who with his wife, Kate took ownership in 2023.
PMR specialises in the supply and installation of grain storage, drying, seed cleaning and handling equipment New Zealand-wide.
About the Owners
Local Hinds residents Tom and Kate Burke are the proud owners of PMR Grain Systems.
A familiar face first as a PMR engineer and then the General Manager, Tom along with his wife Kate look forward to continuing the service delivery excellence the PMR clients have come to rely on.
Parents to two young children that attend local Hinds schools, they enjoy an active outdoor family life with all that Mid-Canterbury has to offer.
